If traveling from Manhattan, take the Trailways Bus to New Paltz and hail a cab to the distillery.  Purchase Tuthilltown's tour and tasting ticket in advance.   Before or after you explore the award winning whiskey, have the "Gristy" Burger at Tuthillhouse at the Mill Restaurant (stones throw away).
