I'm so thrilled to have two recipe on one of the largest design blogs in the world. Today, my Cherokee Rose Pound Cake was an In the Kitchen feature and a few months back my Rice and Harissa Chickpeas. A huge thanks to D*S food editor Kristina Gill.

this is the most lovely cake recipe. First let me just say that rose is on my list of top (shamefully neglected) flavors but a bright side to this negative instance is it also carries an adorable vintage air to it. Also well represented traditional southern dishes... I cant get enough! I have been obsessively collecting and hoarding any good recipe I could find and this is one of those shining examples to me of a simple yet elegant and traditional southern desert ...I love it! I'll have to check out the show :)
